Belfast A City of Culture 2024

In what is the first full opening at Christmas since the Pandemic of Covid-19 in 2020. Belfast and its Xmas has come of Age. With its Christmas Market in the grounds of Cityhall and its St. Georges Market in full swing up until the arrival of Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. There are now a multitude of new local comminity markets for visitors to discover. And tourists and visitors from all over the world have returned to explore and findout for themselves what all the fuss is about. And yes Belfast and Northern Ireland are buzzing again.

Belfast alone welcomed 159 cruise ships. as the city continues to develop and grow in many, many ways. Since Covid, it has continue to be recognised for many things. And became a UNESCO city of Music in 2021. Which is sure to feature in its very own City of Culture Celebrations in 2024. Which is set to welcome millions of visitors from all over the world. So be sure to book early to get the special offers on Hotels and things to do while you're here. Including my small groups of 8, walking tours. Which you'll find are reasonability priced (And I was told the other day it was cheap). The three most popular being my Eclectic Belfast, My Troubles and Political Murals and my Street Art and Pub Experience with stops to listen to live music( not your usual pubcrawl or barhop) As you'll find out for yourself is full of energy and amazing art( By the way. do you like the photo above, which is in the Ulster Museum, just one of the many other things I'll give you to do while your visiting this part of the world)

I'll help you discover great place to wine and dine. entertain the kids all while leaning the amazing past present and future as I take you on a journey along #themARTiway which you can read about in all the usual places. At times you'll think its raining reviews about the Marti way (Not to be confused with the Wild Atlantic Way) (Just as good but diffferent).

My tours are original, unique and bring you closer to the locals than other tour guides. But don't take my word for it. read the reviews.

You just never know who you might meet along the Marti way. Taylor Swift, was out drinking cocktails in a local bar while she was here. Emilia Clarke, John Snow and the cast of the Game of Thrones frequented some of the places I take my guests. Which is another field Belfast and Northern Ireland is gaining a reputation for, and becoming known as a mini Hollywood.

I'd recommend watching the movie Belfast by local director Kenneth Branagh, before coming on my Eclectic Belfast or Political Murals Walking tours. Since most visitors want to lean a little about the period known as the Troubles. You'll find the people of Northern Ireland have moved on from those times. Although we still have some way to go before the healing is complete. Have a listen to that other son from Belfast Van Morrison and his song 'The Healing has Begun' https://youtu.be/1Ocn_gSX94U?si=x4NxcWizQBMe1VHZ . Which reminds me I gotta go buy a ticket fo a band called the Casual Riots. Since Ryan Mc Mullan is sold out :( You'll love his song Belfast City :) https://youtu.be/3_HVq88_ibk?si=2p4NxY-hs4mWE6xT
